Traditional college environments often lack the structure, support, and flexibility these learners need to build essential social connections, self-sufficiency, and life skills. That means too many neurodiverse young adults find themselves isolated lacking options for continued education, meaningful work, or a path toward independent living.
Neurodiverse learners face significant barriers.

For more than 40 years, Lesley’s Threshold Programs has led the way supporting neurodiverse learners, and we’re more committed than ever to meeting the needs of this community. Your generosity helps us expand the resources, services, and support that make Threshold the premier program of its kind.
Your gift to Lesley supports:

Guaranteed internships and employer partner development
Giving students the chance to build crucial work and life skills through real world internships is a cornerstone of the Threshold experience. Your gift allows us to build our employer partner network so that we can offer every student the chance to gain experience through work on the Lesley campus or with a trusted outside organization.

Threshold Alumni Center
We are committed to supporting our Threshold graduates through every stage of their careers and lives. The Threshold Alumni Center helps alumni jumpstart their careers through resume and cover letter writing workshops, job search support, and other services. In addition to aiding their professional development, we cultivate personal growth and help build community by coordinating social activities, physical training, cooking classes, travel experiences, and more.

Lifelong support
Our Threshold Lifelong Support Program, which is open to Lesley graduates and other neurodiverse learners, provides valuable career and life support, offering services such as weekly one-on-one residential and social coaching sessions, career coaching, and internship placements with Lesley campus partners.
