A young woman sits at a table in a classroom, resting her chin on one hand while attentively listening. She has long blonde hair and is wearing a gray sweater. Open books, notebooks, and an orange laptop sleeve are in front of her. In the background, other students are working, and several Apple desktop computers are visible. Natural light streams in through the windows.

Lesley University's Liberal Arts & Business programs provide a foundation that prepares students for success.

With 13 undergraduate majors across Business, Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences, as well as a powerful liberal studies program designed for degree completion students, our graduates leave Lesley ready to take on diverse careers in education, business, human services, science, the arts, and more.

Anchored by our outcomes-driven CommonLynx general education curriculum, our programs feature innovative role-play-based teaching, flexible specializations, and the opportunity to build skills and gain real-world experience through guaranteed internships. Our programs equip you with the broad theoretical foundation and practical experience you need to succeed in your chosen field.

Reacting to the Past - Immersive, Experiential Learning

We utilize the innovative and award-winning role-playing curriculum known as Reacting to the Past within our liberal arts program. Reacting to the Past is a history-based program that uses immersive exercises to put students in the shoes of prominent historical figures and characters. It’s a novel and impactful approach to learning that fosters critical thinking, strengthens analysis and argumentation skills, and enables students to connect historically significant figures and events to their own experiences.

Confidence and Clarity through Real-World Experiences

Our Scholar Partner Program provides students with guaranteed internships at a wide range of organizations. These internships, which can be directly related to your major or in a different discipline, will help you build skills, apply what you learn in the classroom, and make professional connections that extend far beyond graduation.

A Liberal Studies Program Designed for Degree Completion Students

Our Liberal Studies degree is a flexible, individually designed online program for degree completion students looking to maximize their prior credits. Students work with a professional advisor, undergo a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), and incorporate up to 90 credits into their fully personalized curriculum.

The program enables students to choose courses in preparation for graduate study, hone necessary skills for their current role, or develop new competencies to accelerate professional advancement. You’ll graduate with an individually designed concentration based on your interests, and a unique professional profile that sets you apart from your peers.
