A person wearing a black cap and a shirt with the text "BLACKBIRD SINGING IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT" sits at a table in a library, interacting with a child in a blue shirt. They are looking at colorful, open books spread out on the table, with bookshelves and a globe visible in the background. The setting appears to be an educational or reading activity.

Support Education at Lesley

Teacher with children

Education is a cornerstone of U.S. society, but today our education system faces a variety of complex challenges.

Difficulty recruiting and retaining qualified educators means larger class sizes, overworked teachers and a dearth of teachers in critically needed areas like special education and English as a second language. Students come to the classroom with different lived experiences, learning styles, and a range of behavioral and mental health challenges. Resource constraints mean that educators must do more with less.

Partnership Pipeline Development

At the heart of our education programs is a deep commitment to getting our students connected to schools and into the classroom from their very first semester.

Through our Scholar Partner Program, students intern at schools, school districts, and community organizations. Support allows us to broaden and deepen this partnership network, which means more chances for students to enter the field of education, gain crucial practical experience from their very first semester and more support for schools and other educational settings to develop a strong pipeline of talented educators.

Scholarships

Your gift empowers us to increase the amount of financial aid that we’re able to offer prospective and current students, particularly those engaged in our Scholar Partner program. This allows us to attract and retain the best and brightest students, and prepare them to become skilled and resilient educators.
