Student support is a hallmark of Lesley’s graduate programs, with a curriculum that emphasizes self-awareness and self-care, and faculty practitioners who are not only experienced educators, but also sounding boards and mentors. At Lesley, you’ll feel supported and connected through every stage of your education and become part of a learning community that provides lifelong support for mental health professionals wherever they are on their professional journey.

Lesley University’s master’s offerings in mental health and well-being prepare students to pursue careers with impact.
We offer specializations in School Counseling, Holistic Studies, and Trauma Therapies, and are the only school to provide master’s level training in all five expressive therapy modalities – art, dance, drama, music, and expressive arts – in one program area.
Our deeply experienced faculty practitioners bring a holistic and relational approach to the discipline that emphasizes the relationship between the clinician and the individual being served, and focuses on both the clients receiving care and the families, communities, and systems of which they are part. We believe deeply that in order to take care of others, clinicians must also know how to care for themselves, which is why self-reflection and self-care are an integral part of our programs.
As a Lesley student, you’ll graduate prepared to become a skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), ready to provide transformative experiences in a range of different clinical settings.
