A Powerful and Truly Unique Approach to Connecting Education and Employment

At Lesley University, we’re committed to preparing students to become the world’s best practitioners in the fields of Education, Mental Health & Well-Being, Art & Design, and Liberal Arts & Business. Deep professional partnerships are a crucial part of how we deliver on that promise, and our Scholar Partner Program is how we make these partnerships real for our students, from day one, and the organizations who depend on them.

Applicable Learning for Students, Meaningful Benefits for Employers

Our Scholar Partner Program is an exciting new approach to making college more relevant and career focused. Through collaborative partnerships with organizations aligned with our focus areas (as well as within our innovative Threshold Programs for neurodiverse learners), we can offer Lesley students guaranteed internships or field experience.

These internships are guaranteed to students upon their acceptance to Lesley. They begin as early as their very first semester and include generous scholarship funding. Rather than worrying about researching and competing for internships at various points on their college journey, our students focus on maximizing their studies, and applying what they’re learning in the classroom to real-world settings through internships that are seamlessly integrated into their academic experience. Students sharpen their skills, find space to explore different career options, learn about workplace norms and expectations, and begin building valuable professional networks. At Lesley, internships happen early.

Our partners also benefit. They collaborate with Lesley’s world-class faculty practitioners, tackling tough challenges facing their disciplines and organizations. And they gain access to a pool of talented and motivated students who make real contributions as interns and build relationships that often lead to full-time employment after graduation.

Explore Our Scholar Partner Programs

Students who apply to our Education programs are automatically considered for internships through our Scholar Partner Program. These guaranteed internships, awarded upon acceptance, empower our students to get into classrooms sooner, gain valuable teaching experience, and explore different facets of the profession.

We select Scholar Partners on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. If you’re interested in becoming a Scholar Partner, be sure to check the box on your online application.
