Please join us for the second installment of a three-part screening of "Human Flow" at the Lunder Arts Center. Screenings will take place in room 117 on Fridays at noon: Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7. Each segment will detail a specific country or region, as hosted and introduced by students in the Special Topics course, "Socially Engaged Art." The series is sponsored by the Office of Community Engagement.
"Human Flow" is a 2017 documentary film by artist Ai Weiwei, a heartbreaking and compelling visual exploration of the global refugee crisis in 23 countries (including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, France, Greece, Germany, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Mexico and Turkey). The film details the stories of migrants who reach foreign shores and borders in search of safety, shelter and compassion.
