John Sullivan, Director of External Relations
John Sullivan began as director of external relations in December 2019 following six years as director of communications. Prior to his work at Lesley, he was the first editor-in-chief for the New Hampshire-based nonprofit, nonpartisan website The Live Free or Die Alliance.
Before that, he was night editor of The Salem News and spent nearly 20 years in multiplatform journalism as a reporter, photographer, editor or copy editor and page designer for a variety of daily and weekly newspapers in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire. His career also includes three years as a senior account executive and account manager for a high-tech public relations agency in Watertown, Mass., and several years as a special education teacher assistant and direct care social worker for adolescents in Portland, Maine. He is an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Contact John.
Ali Trepanier, Social Media Specialist
Ali Trepanier was named social media specialist in November 2022. They have been part of the Lesley community since matriculating to the university in 2018. That same year, Ali also joined the Communications team as a work-study student. In May 2022, they graduated from the Lesley College of Art Design with a BFA in Photography.
Ali has also worked as a freelance photographer across New England.
