Lesley University is committed to protecting the health and safety of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We closely monitor rates of transmission, and we follow the guidance of medical experts and local public health authorities in developing and adjusting our COVID-19 protocols, as indicated.
All students and employees coming to campus are fully vaccinated or have been approved for medical or religious exemptions. About 98% of faculty and staff and 96% of our students are fully vaccinated.
Campus Testing Data (Spring 2022)
The testing data reported here reflect the on-campus PCR tests conducted by Cataldo Ambulance Service for the final seven weeks of the Spring 2022 Semester. During this period, daily testing was available to all students and employees approved to study or work on campus and was required once a week for those living on campus and students playing on spring season athletics teams. Testing was required twice a week for those with exemptions from vaccination. Testing was also available to people with COVID-19 symptoms or a known exposure.
While testing is still offered on campus during the summer (see schedule), we are not posting the rates of positivity because the total number of tests conducted is quite low and those being tested would more likely be symptomatic or have a known exposure, since fewer people are in the groups where asymptomatic individuals are required to test.
