"A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety: How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet" by Sarah Jaquette Ray is the book we have chosen for this year’s CLAS Reads. Sarah Jaquette Ray draws from various academic areas (e.g., mindfulness studies, environmental studies, sociology, and psychology) to validate the anxiety, guilt and fear associated with the uncertainty of climate change. She shares a variety of strategies that will help us cope with the despair and mobilize us to more effectively advocate for climate justice.
