A woman with short hair and glasses speaks during a small group discussion in a classroom setting. She is animated, gesturing with her hands while speaking. Three other participants, two women and one person partially visible, are seated across the table, listening attentively. The room has whiteboards and a map on the wall, suggesting an academic or professional environment.

Liberal Arts & Business

Continuing Education

A woman stands behind a wooden podium delivering a presentation to an audience seated in rows. A large projection screen behind her displays a slide with an image of a tall building and a quote by Theodore Roosevelt: “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” Audience members are facing forward, listening attentively. The setting appears to be a formal room, possibly a lecture hall or conference room, with framed portraits on the walls.

Workshops & Seminars

Our workshops and seminars provide a deeper dive into the core themes introduced in our microlearnings. Each seminar synthesizes Power Skills, Imagination, and Strategies for Embracing Change. Participants collaborate on real-life case studies, develop group projects, and receive guidance based on their professional contexts. In doing so, they transform foundational concepts into hands-on, practical experience for their careers.

Educators and writing instructors seek to make creative writing more inclusive but often struggle with designing curricula that accommodate our diverse learners effectively.

This comprehensive interactive seminar provides educators and writing instructors with in-depth training on redesigning creative writing instruction through the lens of accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants will engage in hands-on creative exercises while exploring how various forms of creative expression can break down barriers and create inclusive learning environments for all students. The seminar includes detailed examination of UDL principles, collaborative development of accessible writing curricula, and practical strategies for accommodating diverse learning styles, abilities, and communication needs. Through interactive workshops, peer collaboration, and reflective practice, participants will develop comprehensive approaches to creative writing instruction that celebrate diversity, foster inclusion, and ensure that every learner can access and engage with the transformative power of creative expression. This 10 hour-seminar with PDPs equivalency will be led by alumni Zofia Provizer and Taylor Liljegren.
