The primary role of the Master of Social Work (MSW) Field Education Department is to match students in the graduate social work program with approved internship sites and supervisors as well as recruit sites, to orient supervisors to Lesley's social work program, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting around any concerns that arise during the internship experience.

This Elementary Education Program provides participants with the knowledge, skills, experiences, and supports needed to become effective, licensed teachers in 21st century schools. The program incorporates Lesley's commitment to culturally responsive teaching, equity, inclusive classrooms, ESL competencies, differentiated instruction, interdisciplinary teaching, a focus on common-core standards, and the integration of theory with practice.

The Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations collaborates with Lesley University alumni, parents, and friends to keep them connected. A major focus of our work is helping members of the Lesley community support the university philanthropically. We organize alumni and parent events and gatherings, engage with friends of the university, and in general, help tell Lesley's story.

In the Community Service Office, you can engage in collective efforts to achieve social change through meaningful one-time, short-term, and ongoing volunteer opportunities, digital activism, and social justice education about issues impacting our communities.

We offer paid and unpaid opportunities to engage in the community with local organizations—virtually and in person—to strengthen the collective effort to create a more just and equitable world.

At Lesley University, our office strives to build and maintain an inclusive campus environment. We aspire to create a true sense of belonging for all and a community where members can engage within and across differences as their full selves. Our office is made up of the following areas:

  • Multicultural Affairs and Social Inclusion
  • EDIJ Learning and Development
  • Urban Scholars Initiative Program

The Residence Life program is designed to support, extend and complement academic life by encouraging students to learn from one another and to cultivate a respectful environment that is intellectually stimulating and fun. The office assigns rooms to all undergraduate residents and maintains wait-lists for single rooms. The Community Advisor staff live among the students and work with students to build an inclusive community. The Residence Life staff assist students who may experience roommate conflicts and provide support in other areas as needed.

The Provost serves as Chief Academic Officer for Lesley University to ensure that our academic programs meet high standards for quality. The Provost and all members of the Provost Office team work collaboratively across the university with faculty, academic deans, budget officers, program directors, advisors, admissions counselors, alumni, and current students.
