Deposit today to reserve your spot in the upcoming fall class! We're excited to welcome you to the Lesley community.

These are challenging times for colleges, universities, and students alike. We are saddened by the closing of Newbury College, and at Lesley University we want you to know that we have your back.

As a Newbury College student in good academic standing, we guarantee your admission to Lesley, and 100% of your Newbury credits will be applied to your degree plan. On top of that, we will match your current tuition cost (minus any institutional scholarships or grants you’ve received from Newbury).

We understand what you’re going through. And we’re here to help make your success happen.

How to Apply

  • Complete our streamlined application. We'll waive your personal statement and recommendations.
  • Submit an electronic copy of your Newbury transcript to ugdocs@lesley.edu. We can work with an unofficial transcript to make an admissions decision and generate a credit evaluation. Campus housing is guaranteed: housing application and deposit must be submitted by May 1.

To finalize your application:

  • If you initially sent us an unofficial Newbury transcript: request an official copy of that transcript be emailed to ugdocs@lesley.edu.
  • If you took college coursework at another institution: request an official copy of that transcript to be emailed to ugdocs@lesley.edu.
  • If you're transferring in fewer than 60 credits: submit a copy of your final official high school transcript to ugdocs@lesley.edu.

Find Out What's Possible

As a Lesley University student, you’ll do things that spark your creativity and get you out into the world to put theory into action. In the classroom and through your required internships, you’ll do meaningful work in the arts, business management, human services, psychology and social work.

Speak with Stephanie Smyrl (ssmyrl@lesley.edu) from Lesley Athletics to explore our NCAA Division III teams. And you’ll do all of this in Cambridge, Massachusetts, just minutes from Boston.
