Service Requests

Physical Plant is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and appearance of University facilities and grounds. Physical Plant addresses service requests through an automated work order system available to the Lesley community and tenants with internet access. Emergency work requests are handled via telephone.

Service Requests

Physical Plant uses School Dude, a web-based tool, for all service requests.  To set up your School Dude account to submit service requests, please follow the simple instructions: User Manual.  Then, log in using the following website: School Dude.  The Lesley organization number is 156204328.  All student requests in dormitories should go through assigned CAs.

Emergency Service

In case of an emergency work request, please call Plant Operations at 617.349.8881 between the hours of 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday-Friday.  If the emergency occurs off-hours or on a holiday, please call Public Safety at 617.349.8888.

Emergency Work Examples

  • Water and/or plumbing systems leaks or overflows
  • Fire alarms sounding
  • Carbon monoxide detector alerts
  • Power outages
  • Noxious odors, such as gas
  • Door alarms and doors not locking
  • If you require a response within 5 minutes
