Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential program designed to help you with your personal or work life balance issues. Lesley University is providing the EAP to help you toward an early resolution of your personal concerns. Our EAP provides services for the following:

  • Mental Health and Well-Being
  • Personal and Professional Relationships
  • Substance Abuse
  • Family Life
  • Daily Stress
  • Legal Assistance: legal consultation and /or referral for most legal issues

Check with New York Life to learn about other services that may be available to you.

There is no charge for services provided within the EAP. The EAP provides research, consultation and referral services for you, your family, and your significant others. When necessary you may be referred to services that go beyond the scope of the EAP. Charges for services outside the EAP are your responsibility. In some cases, however, your health insurance may cover a portion of the cost of the services you require.

These services are confidential. No information, including your name, can be released without your written consent. The only exceptions are those required by law such as the duty of counselors to warn someone of a serious death threat, or the mandated reporting of child and elder abuse.

Contact New York Life Group Benefit Solutions EAP anytime toll free at (800) 344-9752 or visit Web ID: NYLGBS. A counselor will be available to speak with you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Human Resources and/or your supervisor, or a co-worker may suggest that you take advantage of these services. If they do, it is because they care about you and want you to get the help that you may need.
