Blackboard Ally is a tool within myLesley that creates alternative files that are easier to for all students to use. Ally gauges the accessibility of your content and provides tips and tricks for improvements to your content accessibility. Ally also automatically creates alternative versions of your files, allowing students to choose the type of file that best suits their needs. This includes HTML, ePub, electronic braille, and audio (MP3) versions of your files.
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a web conferencing tool that allows you to conduct live online meetings. Collaborate is integrated directly into myLesley courses. Typical uses include training, class sessions, guest speakers, group planning and collaboration.
Blackboard Learn (myLesley) is Lesley University’s learning management system where instructors can upload the syllabus and course materials and students can interact in discussion forums, submit assignments and receive feedback on their work. Log in now.
EBSCO Library Syllabus Builder allows faculty to search for library resources from within your myLesley course and then create a reading list of your selections with links for your students to access and view.
EndNote and EndNote Web has tools to search online resources, collect and organize references, manage bibliographies, format citations and footnotes.
Hoonuit (formerly Atomic Learning) has a wide range of video tutorials that provide software training to Lesley faculty, staff and students. Links to tutorials can be created and added directly in a myLesley course.
Kaltura Media allows users to record and share video. It is integrated directly into myLesley to provide secure video content that is private to a course.
LiveText MAP (My Assessment Portfolio) is the assessment tool where GSOE students create electronic portfolios, or ePortfolios, to reflect their learning throughout their course of study.
LOIS or Lesley Online Information Services is used to access administrative information via the web. Students can search and register for courses, see their course schedule and grades, and request transcripts. Faculty can view their course schedules and rosters and submit grades. Microsoft Office 365 is a web and mobile-based version of Microsoft's suite of Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Skype for Business, and OneDrive. Microsoft Teams combines synchronous and asynchronous communication and collaboration in one tool. Have individual or group text conversations, share and collaborate on documents, and meet online in a video call. Teams can be accessed or downloaded via Office 365 using your Lesley email address and password.
Qualtrics is the industry-leading provider of Online Survey Software. Qualtrics is available to all Lesley University faculty and staff. Student access is provided if required as part of a course or program.
Skype for Business is an online meeting tool for one-to-one, small group or whole class meetings. Use audio, video and text to communicate. Collaborate and share content via presentation, screen sharing and digital whiteboard tools. Skype for Business meetings can easily be created in Office 365.
