Student explorers: develop your inner scientist.
In our WonderLab spring after-school camp, students will learn from and with university scientists and students, and spend time in labs, technology-rich environments, studios and urban green space.
They'll enjoy hands-on investigations into the ecology of local plants and animals. Studying diverse city habitats, including neighborhoods, parks, playgrounds, and preserves. Exploring the form, function and design of urban landscapes. Designing their own experiments.
Activities include outdoor explorations, engineering, construction and maker-space technology. Arts are integrated across the program through drawing, acting, dance, photography and digital film. Students will enjoy a relaxed and playful academic atmosphere.
Available days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays for 18 weeks (excluding school vacation weeks), beginning the week of January 22. Camp runs from 3-6 p.m.
Preliminary registration (indicates interest; someone will be in touch with you by email for more details).
