The theme of the 2019 White Privilege Symposium New England is #BeBold #GoDeep #SpeakUp: Challenging Internalized Whiteness. The symposium is hosted by Lesley University and The Privilege Institute on October 4 and 5.

The symposium will offer keynotes, workshops and performances that are dedicated to understanding racism, its key intersections, how it shows up in our lives, and action that we can take as individuals and as a community. 

Keynote speakers include Robin DiAngelo, best-selling author of "White Fragility," Darnisa Amante, founder of Disruptive Equity Education Project (DEEP) and Yusef Salaam, a community leader, speaker and member of Exonerated 5.

  • Program: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
