Sonia Perez Villanueva

As an associate professor of Spanish studies and literature at Lesley, Sonia brings expertise in Spanish culture and literature as well as theories of literature. She holds a BA and an MA from the University of the Basque Country in Spain as well as a PhD from the University of Birmingham in England.

Co-Founder and Co-Chair of Violence Against Women Initiative. 
Violence against Women: Representations, Interpretations, Explorations/Education  is a call for action to put a stop to violence against women.
