The Violence against Women Initiative hosts events that bring the conversation of violence against women to campus. The objective of the events is to provide a platform for scholars, artists, and activists to explore the interplay between global representations of violence against women, and historical and contemporary discourses. We would like to reach out to schools and universities and integrate Violence against women in the curriculum to:
- raise awareness
- create a dialogue
- learn about “seeing”
- learn about not being violent
- understand violence
- put an end to violence
