Residence Halls

Learn more about the different kinds of housing available at Lesley, including our special interest living communities.

Traditional-style housing

Just like the iconic dorms you’ve seen on TV and in the movies, traditional halls provide a comfortable living option for many. Each hall has is its own community, with shared bathrooms and spaces for working, cooking, and relaxing. These halls are great for meeting new people and popular among first year students.

Suite-style housing

Want a bit more privacy? Suite-style halls offer adjoining rooms that share a private bathroom. You’ll have 4-8 people living in a suite. So you can multiply roommate-bonding opportunities without sacrificing personal space. Besides larger lounge areas, these halls feature full kitchens and en suite kitchenettes.

Victorian-style housing

Historic and homey, our Victorian-era halls keep the charm of Cambridge’s old neighborhoods. These restored halls house approximately 20-40 students each. You'll find a mix of single, double, and triple-occupancy rooms. Each hall contains a central lounge, kitchen, and laundry facilities.

Special Interest Community Housing

Live and learn with students who share similar interests as you, while enjoying special programs and growing as a community. Throughout the year, you’ll work closely with your Community Advisor to plan activities for you and your housemates. You’ll even have the opportunity to become more involved and take on leadership roles.

Selecting a building that includes special interest housing does not necessarily mean you have to share that interest. You may live in a hall and choose not to be an active participant of the activities in that hall.
