Foundations in EDIJ is a constellation of training programs hosted by the Office of EDIJ at Lesley University that feature core aspects of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Justice. These offerings represent important opportunities for the community to experience learning that builds skillfulness around values and belonging.
This offering of Foundations in EDIJ will provide ways to understand and address implicit bias in everyday settings. The program will provide a valuable overview of implicit bias and a place to discuss how we can strive to reduce it. Participants will learn about how implicit biases develop, what cognitive biases are (we all have them!), the intersectional nature of biases, and what we can do to address bias in our interactions and decisions.
