“Sports really have driven my career path,” notes Scott Wheeler. Sport drew him to Lesley to play soccer (and later volleyball & tennis). At Lesley his major was management (with a sports focus) and a minor in global studies. Scott’s sports background helped him land an internship with the New England Revolution and a part time position with the Red Sox Grounds Crew. Moving to Atlanta after graduation, Scott landed a job with the Atlanta Silverbacks (a professional Division 2 soccer team), ending up as their facility director. Five years later, his next stop was with Topgolf. As Sales Account Manager, he notes he “currently helps corporate groups setup team building outings.” And lastly, sports at Lesley helped shape Scott's life in perhaps the most important way. He met his wife playing volleyball in an Atlanta sports league.
