Alison Angell is the Interim Director/Career Coach at the Career Resource Center. As a career coach, Alison enjoys getting to know students and hearing their stories and hopes for the future. Alison likes to help students and alumni move from confusion and questions to a sense of clarity and motivation about next steps. In addition, she facilitates career workshops and creates employer engagement opportunities for students and alumni.

Alison’s professional interests include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), meaning making, anti-racism practices, positive psychology, and trauma-informed career coaching. In addition, she has a special interest in connecting with students who identify as first generation college students, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+. Alison holds an M.Ed. from Boston University in Human Resources Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Elmira College.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys traveling, singing, and preserving memories. And it is not uncommon to find Alison asking a stranger questions about their career!
