How Teachers and Families Can Support Children's Independence
Teachers and parents of young children often wrestle with competing responsibilities and instincts as they celebrate children’s developmental milestones and monitor environmental threats (real and imagined). In this session, panelists will share examples of classroom curriculum associated with the “Let Grow” project.
Teachers’ and families’ reflections, and students’ experiences and artifacts, will lay the foundation for an interactive exchange with participants so that everyone can consider potential growth in their own educational settings.
