If you are an undergraduate student, access to Undergraduate Student Health Services is covered in your tuition fees. We do not bill insurance or charge co-pays for services provided in our office. I missed a class. Can I get a doctor’s note or an excuse note from Student Health Services? We do not provide routine sick notes for illnesses that result in brief absences from class. If you are seen at Health Services for a medical issue that requires a long absence, we will notify the Director of Academic Advising. They will then notify your professors and faculty advisor. You must also be in touch with your professors to make arrangements for completing missed work. I have a hold on my account, and I can’t register for classes. How do I get the hold lifted? Massachusetts law requires documentation of certain immunizations prior to registration in a post-secondary institution. If you have an IM Hold on your account, it is because we have not received your complete immunization record. Please upload your documents to the portal at lesley.medicatconnect.com. For questions, contact lesleyhealthservice@lesley.edu. I have a question about signing up for or waiving the Lesley Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance Plan. Can you help me with this? Massachusetts requires all students to carry adequate health insurance. Lesley enrolls students in a Blue Cross Blue Shield plan through Gallagher Student Health. But students with comparable insurance may be eligible to waive this plan. Visit Gallagher Student Health at gallagherstudent.com/lesley. Here you can activate your enrollment or waive this health insurance plan. You can also visit the Lesley Support Hub Knowledge Base for information.
