Saying farewell to friends

More than 30 Lesley faculty and staff celebrated for impact, service

Regina Meadows, executive administrative assistant in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is recognized during Lesley’s retirement celebration at the Student Center

In a convivial gathering at the student center on May 31, President Jeff Weiss led about 100 members of the Lesley University community in officially saying goodbye to faculty and staff whose collective service to the university exceeds 650 years.

“The group of you are Lesley,” Weiss said. “I know there is a deep love for all of you, a deep respect for all of you and a deep appreciation for all of you.”

Vice President of Administration Marylou Batt and interim Provost Rich Hansen alternated in reading the names of the honorees:

President Weiss urged the retirees to stay in touch and “stay engaged” with Lesley.
