Join us for our third 2021–2022 virtual teach-in, a day of workshops focused on examining and improving our curriculum, teaching, and learning to make us a more equitable, just, and inclusive community. All are welcome to this free event.

10:15–11:15 am Decentering White Comfort in Equity Work: A Presentation on Examining Internalized White Supremacy  Victoria Gill, Ana López We will address the issue of white discomfort and how we can recognize when we prioritize our discomfort over equity work in education. We will provide strategies to unpack, understand, and analyze peoples’ roles in white supremacy through an anti-racist lens.

Bring a syllabus to examine, and be prepared with access to your Blackboard course.
