The Pedagogy of Play (PoP) is a multiyear, cross-cultural research project aimed at supporting playful learning. In this presentation, PoP researchers Yvonne Liu-Constant, Megina Baker, and Ben Mardell share the project's framework and examples from public schools in Massachusetts and Taiwan where educators are using PoP ideas to bring more playful learning to children in preschool through third grade. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss how to bring PoP ideas into their classrooms and schools.
