The Undergraduate Internship Office is dedicated to assisting and supporting you in securing internship placements. We work to ensure that you have the best possible experience by directing you to internship opportunities that match your interests and professional goals.

When are we available?

The Undergraduate Internship Office is available Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering meetings both remotely and in-person.

Where can you find us?

Our Internship Office, located at Wright Hall on South Campus, is dedicated to assisting and supporting you in securing internship placements and ensuring that you have the best possible experience. We are currently primarily offering Zoom meetings, but are also available for in-person meetings.

Why would you contact us?

Our internship coordinators will work with you to improve your interviewing techniques, sharpen your résumé writing skills, and direct you to the internship opportunities that match your interests and professional goals.

Internship opportunities are available during your sophomore, junior, and senior years. Schedule a meeting with an internship coordinator to get started.

Questions
Are all internships in-person?

Most internships are in-person. However, we currently have many interesting remote internships available.

How many internships are required?

The number of hours you will be required to intern is dependent on your major.

How many hours will my internship be?

Internship hourly requirements are dependent on your major and internship level (first, second, third).

When is it best for me to start my internship search?

You should contact the Internship Office early in the semester before you plan on interning. So for a summer or fall internship, contact the Internship Office in early March; for a spring internship contact the Internship Office in early October.

How will my internship be supported?

You will be enrolled in a concurrent course. The instructor for the course will support you along with your internship site supervisor, and the Internship Office.
