Lesley Announces Maine Scholars Program
The Maine Scholars program gives students prioritization by Maine employers as well as opportunities for financial aid and scholarship benefits.
What do we do?

The primary role of the Master of Social Work (MSW) Field Education Department is to match students in the graduate social work program with approved internship sites and supervisors as well as recruit sites, to orient supervisors to Lesley's social work program, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting around any concerns that arise during the internship experience.

When are we available?

Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., although individual appointments should be scheduled, as the director's schedule may fluctuate at times.

Where can you find us?

Elaine M. Gatewood, Social Work Field Director, is currently working remotely. Otherwise, her office is University Hall 2-095.

Why would you contact us?

Students should reach out to Elaine with any questions about their internship, in particular, the internship/approval selection process. Concerns that arise during an internship can be directed to our office as well as to the field seminar faculty member, as outlined in the course syllabus and Master Social Work Field Manual.

How do you contact us?

The best way to reach Elaine is by email: egatewoo@lesley.edu.
