    Phonics, Spelling, and Word Study

    Students learn about the relationships of letters to sounds as well as the structure and meaning of words to help them in reading and spelling. You'll learn the role that phonics, phonological awareness, vocabulary, spelling, and word study instruction play in learning to read and write.

    We offer two professional development opportunities around the Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Assessment Systems on-site in your district to dig deep into the Systems as you use them to assess your student's reading level.
