Oliver Wasow is a fine art photographer currently living and working in Rhinebeck, NY. He has published two books: Artist Unknown/The Free World, 2011, [NAME] Publications; and Friends, Enemies and Strangers, 2018, Saint Lucy Books. His publisher says, "Using images from his studio and found in flea markets and on the internet, Wasow employs an array of post-production techniques to create a cast of characters that prompts us to reconsider not only the parameters of photographic portraiture but what we can know of human nature."

Wasow has had a number of solo exhibitions, including shows at Theodore:Art, Josh Baer Gallery, Janet Borden Gallery, Tom Solomon Gallery in Los Angeles, The South Eastern Center for Contemporary Art in North Carolina, and the Hilliard Museum in Lafayette, LA. Reviews of his work have been featured in most major art publications, including Art Forum, ArtNews and The New York Times. Oliver's work is represented by Theodore:Art Gallery in NYC.
