Melanie Cadet

Melanie earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is the Graduate Program Director of the Master's in Mental Health program and Clinical Faculty for the Counseling Psychology PhD program at UMass Boston. Her approach as an instructor, supervisor, and clinician are informed by a social justice and multicultural lens. She encourages critical thinking and open dialogue among students about working with diversity and how this relates to personal and professional identity integration.
