Lesley University will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit on March 29 - April 1, 2026, by a team representing the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The Commission is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and accredits approximately 220 institutions.
Lesley University has been accredited by NECHE since 1952, and the last comprehensive review was in 2015. Its accreditation encompasses the entire institution.
Over the past year and a half, Lesley University has engaged in a process of self-study, addressing NECHE’s Standards for Accreditation. An evaluation team will visit the campus to review this self-study and recommend ongoing status to the Commission, which will then take final action.
