Whether it is an art student, business student, or student interested in education, they will be able to find their niche within Lesley and the greater community, which will propel them on to great things.

Advice for applicants: Get to campus! It is so important to arrive on campus and feel at home, and the only way to do so is by visiting. Whether you arrive before applying of after, being on a college campus will show you exactly what you are looking for. Look for what will be the best fit for you, both with your desired major and the kind of environment you would want to spend your time in. Best of luck!

Works with: First-year Students

Works with students from: Boston, Puerto Rico and Florida applications!

Phone: (857) 360-5077

Fun fact: I love fiber arts! I taught myself how to crochet about two years ago and it’s become my favorite hobby!

Why Lesley?: I chose Lesley because I deeply appreciate their mission and how we work with students. Here at Lesley, we take a holistic approach to admissions, because we want to get an understanding of the whole student that is applying. Due to this approach, we end up really connecting with and getting to know our prospective students, which makes it all the more satisfying when you’re able to aid and guide them through this new stage of their life!

Advice for applicants: Open yourself up to the different options you may have! When I was applying for colleges, I was blinded by tunnel vision, I ONLY wanted colleges in ONE specific area! If I hadn’t opened myself up to an alternative option and given a chance to a school I hadn’t considered as much, I would have never gone to Massachusetts and fallen in love with the city!! Broadening my horizon brought Boston and Cambridge into my life and for that I’m forever grateful!

Hannah Stebbins

Assistant Director of Admissions & Visitor Experience Liaison

Works with: First-year Students

Works with students from: Connecticut (Hartford, Litchfield, and Waterbury Counties), Massachusetts (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and North Worcester Counties), New York excluding Long Island and New York City, Vermont

Email: hannah.stebbins@lesley.edu

Phone: (617) 447-5784

Fun fact: I have skied in every New England state-- even Rhode Island!

Why Lesley?: I love Lesley because our professors are incredibly generous, dedicated, and passionate about their subjects and will always celebrate the success of their students and alumni. Lesley alumni strive to better the world around us - emotionally, socially, and academically - and that work begins with inspiring professors.

Advice for applicants: Years ago, I attended a high school commencement speech where the speaker left graduates with important food for thought - "follow your questions." I always liked that! It applies for every single stage of life-- choosing a college, taking a job, or learning a skill. Follow your questions and so many opportunities will open up for you!

Nicole Plummer

Assistant Director of Admissions & Student Ambassador Liaison

Works with: First-year Students

Works with students from: New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts (Cambridge, Essex County, Lowell/Concord/Wellesley)

Email: nicole.plummer@lesley.edu

Phone: (781) 777-8649

Fun fact: I am a professionally trained opera singer!

Why Lesley?: I love Lesley because the programs we offer attract a student body that is so passionate about what they do and the impact they hope to have on the world! Our tight-knit community allows students to thrive in a safe and supportive environment that also gets them out into the world to fully prepare them for what to expect post-grad.

Advice for applicants: Don't underestimate the importance of feeling "at home" at your chosen school! Lots of colleges will offer the program/major that you are looking for, but not all of them will be the best fit for you. Visit as many schools on your list as possible and trust your gut about how you feel when you're there! Will this environment help you thrive for the next four years?
