Join Ming Chang, LMHC, with respondents Bob Fox, LICSW and Robin Chalfin, LICSW as they address the existential approach to therapy with an eye to multiculturalism and cultural competency. We will explore ways that “truth and betrayal” occur and are experienced in a number of different cultural situations. We will also explore how “self as instrument” is developed across cultural divides, while still remaining essentially existential.
Sponsored by the New England Center for Existential Therapy’s 2017-2018 series, “Existential Therapy: Spaces, Movements and Narratives,” highlighting a variety of existential therapy motifs.
