Online Master of Education (M.Ed.): Professional Licensure or Non-Licensure

Help students develop strong math skills.

Sharpen your mathematics skills and gain strategies for student success in this innovative, inquiry-based program. You’ll develop math competencies and the habits of a mathematical thinker. You’ll explore curriculum development, practical and applied research, and how to connect knowledge to classroom practice. And you’ll experience investigative learning that mirrors the student-centered classrooms of today.

Along with courses in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and more, you’ll develop skills in assessment, content delivery, and how to teach to all students. You'll also examine current issues in educational practice and policy.

Emerge ready to inspire your students to become analytical thinkers and problem solvers. By learning advanced teaching techniques, you’ll equip your students with the STEM skills they’ll need for ongoing success.

Designed for teachers, curriculum specialists, and instructional resource leaders in grades 1-8, this program leads to Massachusetts Professional Teacher Licensure (Elementary 1-6, Mathematics 1-6, or Mathematics 5-8). It can also be taken as a non-licensure program.
