Master of Education (M.Ed.): Initial Licensure (All Levels)

Prepare creative, confident problem-solvers.

In today’s schools, technology is fully integrated into the classroom. As a teacher or technology specialist, you can make a meaningful impact by applying your knowledge of technology to support all learners.

Through Lesley's interactive, mostly online Master of Education in Educational Technology with a license in Instructional Technology, you'll gain direct experience using a range of digital media for education.

Start by building a foundation in 21st-century teaching and learning. Explore human development, and how new tools can bridge the achievement gap for learners with diverse learning needs. Learn how to design curriculum that infuses technology and new media in meaningful ways. And through elective courses, develop an individualized program of study that fits your professional needs.

In your capstone course, learn how to transform teacher-centered classrooms into student-focused learning environments. Finish your program with a student teaching experience, and leave ready to step into a classroom or school technology position. In fact, employers in Massachusetts prefer to hire Lesley graduates, saying that they are best prepared to enter the classroom on day one.
