Arts Integration Strategies

Graduate Certificate, Off-Campus Program

Use creativity in the curriculum to meet learning standards.

At Lesley, we recognize the power of the arts as a pathway to meaningful learning. In our arts integration certificate, you’ll discover how to use music, drama, visual arts, storytelling, and poetry to increase student achievement.

This program is useful for educators wanting to fulfill professional development requirements while enhancing their creativity and ability to integrate the arts across the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.

You'll learn about arts-related universal design for learning, differentiated instruction, and Common Core standards—knowledge that you can bring directly back to your classroom. And because we encourage self-reflection and exploration in our courses, you'll develop a greater understanding of students with different learning styles, cultures, and languages.

By studying here, you'll work with faculty to co-create new approaches to enliven and deepen your current teaching practice. Come study at New England's premier university for teacher preparation. If you are interested in obtaining a master's degree, you can transfer the courses in this certificate program to the M.Ed. in Integrated Teaching through the Arts.
