My name is Theodore (Teddy) Kokoros. I have worked as a Pre-K teacher for the past 15 years at the Transportation Children’s Center in Boston. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in education at Lesley University. My academic interests are in language and literacy development along with helping young children see themselves as citizens. I periodically write about children’s literature at The Horn Book. In addition, I have written about early education policy and about men in early education for The Aspire Institute, Men Teach, and the Eye on Early Education Blog.
