Katherine Shozawa headshot

Katherine Shozawa’s socially engaged art practice spans more than twenty years, facilitating community-based planning processes and relational art projects with and for marginalized communities across the U.S. and Canada.  She serves as a public art mentor for the New England Foundation for the Arts and board member for the Cambridge Arts Council, City of Cambridge.

Katherine earned her MFA in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and BA in American Studies from Yale University.  She attended the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program.
