UT has several policies in place surrounding the use of Lesley technologies for circulation:
- Equipment Borrowing is for Lesley Community members ONLY. If you represent an off-campus organization or entity, then equipment reservations need to be made by an on-campus liaison.
- All equipment should be requested through our online reservation form.
*The online reservation form is accessible from on-campus only; if you are off-campus, please speak with your department coordinator or on-campus liaison to make equipment requests.
Please note: UT only circulates items explicitly included on the form; if you require more information about the items including usage instructions or technical specifications, UT offers training & support for those items by request. To request more information, please contact ut@lesley.edu (Subject: Training) or call x8770
- University Technology requires 2 weeks notice prior to the reservation date.

This two-week period allows us to check our inventory for the availability of the equipment, refresh/repair kits for pick-up or delivery, and to schedule times for training/orientation of those components.
- Until you receive an email confirmation, you are not guaranteed the requested equipment.
- Once confirmation is received, the requested equipment may be picked-up at the designated University Technology office; more information will be included on the confirmation email, so please read it carefully.
- All requestors must perform a preliminary hardware review before checking items out
- All equipment must be returned to University Technology in the condition at which it was originally received.
- All requestors are required to obtain the appropriate training or orientation to operate this equipment prior to the event. --- UT does not assume responsibility for inappropriate use of the technology or the malfunctioning of any devices due to misuse.
Training is offered through University Technology. *see above.
- Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned terms may result in future denial of service.

Equipment is typically checked-out for one of two types of events: Academic/Instructional use or for General Events
- Academic/Instructional Events are primarily associated with a course number and section. These courses typically meet regularly throughout the semester and spaces are booked by a scheduling coordinator through the various Academic Departments.
Many of Lesley's classrooms are equipped with digital projection and some come with computer systems
For information about the various digital labs & classrooms, please visit the location information page.
If your class requires particular technology and is held in a space that does not come equipped with
those amenities, you may request additional technology components through our equipment reservation form.
As a faculty, there are several campus resources available for media services, consultation, training, & development:
- General Events are gatherings that are held by various organizations and are catered to special groups or to the community as a whole.
Holding community events requires a substantial amount of planning through various departments across campus.
If you are considering hosting an event, please review these resources:
University Technology requires that all organizations utilizing technology for community events contact ut@lesley.edu at least 1-month in advance. During the month prior, the Labs & Classrooms Coordinator will schedule a time to meet with you to conduct a walk-through of the event, assemble a checklist of necessary technologies, and offer training/orientation.
Please note: on-site technical staff can behired through a 3rd party organization at a fixed cost per hour.

The Labs & Classrooms Coordinator is available as a courteousy to event planners and is available for consultation by appointment.
