Admissions Ambassadors

Admissions Ambassadors give tours on campus, act as a resource to field questions about Lesley University and are a friendly, welcoming face for all visitors coming to campus. Being an Admissions Ambassador is huge in giving prospective students the information they need to choose the university or college that is the right fit for them. Ambassadors are integral in sharing their experiences as a student at Lesley and play a key role in helping students to decide if Lesley could be a new home to them. Join us in being an Ambassador of Lesley University!

Specific Duties 
To act as a resource person to prospective students by sharing your Lesley knowledge and student experience 

Qualified candidates should possess the following characteristics and skills:

  •  Dependability
  •  Flexibility
  •  Responsibility
  •  Positive and professional attitude
  •  Good interpersonal interaction skills
  •  General knowledge of the Lesley campus, history, and resources (we will provide you information during training)

Students interested in applying should make sure that they:

  • Are in good academic standing
  •  Are in good judicial standing

Important Admissions Ambassador Information:

  • Apply here to be an Admissions Ambassador for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. Applications are due by Monday, October 30.

Overnight Hosts

There is a great need for more overnight hosts as more prospective and admitted students express interest in experiencing Lesley before making their final college decision. The three largest events Lesley University hosts for accepted students are Dean’s Merit Scholars Program, Class Visit Days, and Accepted Students Days.

Please carefully read and consider the overnight host job description, expectations, dates, and information about the application process below before submitting your application. 

Specific Duties

  • To act as a resource person to prospective students by sharing your Lesley knowledge and student experience
  • Take a prospective student to one or two classes
  • Host prospective student overnight in your residential hall room (you are not required to provide bedding or other items for prospective students)

Qualified candidates should possess the following characteristics and skills:

  • Dependability
  • Flexibility
  • Responsibility
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Good interpersonal interaction skills
  • General knowledge of the Lesley campus, history, and resources (we will provide you information during training)

Students interested in applying should make sure that they:

  • Are in good academic standing
  • Are in good judicial standing
  • Live on campus in a residence hall

Important Overnight Host Information:

  • Apply for the Overnight Host position now
  • Monetary compensation ($40) for each overnight stay regardless of prospective student attendance
  • Must sign an Overnight Host contract with Visitor Services Center

**Students who are Community Advisors should note that they cannot apply for the Overnight Host position.
