Job Postings

Note: The Federal Work-Study and Lesley Work programs have ended for the 2008-2009 school year and the job postings have been removed from the Student Employment website.  Positions for the 2009-2010 school year will be posted toward the end of the summer.

Lesley University has two types of student employment: Federal Work-Study and the Lesley Work Program. The difference between the two is that the federal government pays a portion of your Federal Work-Study earnings, whereas Lesley University pays your entire earnings through the Lesley Work Program.

You will know if you are eligible to apply to Federal Work-Study positions if you have a Federal Work-Study award included on your Award Letter from the Financial Aid Office.  If you cannot locate a copy of your Award Letter, please check your financial aid award on the LOIS website. You may also contact the Financial Aid Office to determine if you were awarded Federal Work-Study. We are located on the 3rd Floor of University Hall (1815 Massachusetts Ave.) or by phone at 617-349-8581.

If you have not been awarded Federal Work-Study, you may apply for Lesley Work Program positions. The registration and application procedures for both programs are the same, but Federal Work-Study students will be given preferential consideration for available positions. It is important to know if you are eligible for Federal Work-Study because some departments only have Federal Work-Study positions available, while others have both.

Available Federal Work-Study and Lesley Work Program positions are posted on the Lesley University Student Employment website. Please follow the link to the Lesley University Student Employment website. All students seeking employment must apply for positions through the Student Employment website.  Job postings have been removed for the 2008-2009 school year, and have not yet been uploaded for the 2009-2010 academic year. Students are encouraged to complete the W-4 tax exemption form and the I-9 identification form before they apply for employment. All students seeking employment need to complete the W-4 form every school year that they are employed. Students (except international students) must complete the I-9 form only once, and students who have completed the I-9 form for a previous year's employment do not need to do another I-9.
