Stan Vieira

Stan graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in May, 1992 with a degree in Political Science. At UMass Stan ran varsity track for three years, competing in the 100 meter sprint, 200 meter sprint, and the 4x100 meter relay.

In February of 1996 Stan became the Assistant General Manager of Baseball Operations for the Rhode Island Tigersharks. During his time there he served as a member for the Board of Directors for the Northeast League.

In September of 1996 Stan took a job as the Head Coach of the varsity boys and girls track and field team, and Head Coach of the junior varsity baseball team at Mount Saint Charles Academy. There he mentored several athletes to All-State selection.

In October of 1996 Stan became the Sports Information Director at the Community College of Rhode Island. He was also the assistant track and field coach at CCRI.

In 1997 Stan became the Assistant Athletic Director at Bunker Hill Community College, and was the assistant women's soccer and women's softball coach.

In 1999 Stan became the Athletic Director of Lesley College. Since he has come on he has seen the program grow to 10 Varsity Sports and has undergone co-education. Under his direction his teams have excelled both on and off the field including numerous academic awards.
