Part-Time Employees Pro-Rated Subsidy*

Lesley University offers benefits to part time employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 17.5 hours a week in a department where a full time person is regularly scheduled to work 35 hours per week; or to part time employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least
20 hours a week in a department where a full time person is regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week. The University shares the cost of benefit premiums with part time employees on a prorated basis.

HEALTH INSURANCE:

The University shares the cost of the health insurance on a prorated basis, depending on the number of hours a part time employee is regularly scheduled to work. This prorated percentage is determined against a Full Time Equivalent (FTE). See table below:

If you were hired prior to November 1, 2002, change your status from part time to full time, or full time to part time, and want to have health insurance, please contact your Human Resources Representative to determine eligibility and costs.
