Workers' Compensation

(effective 1/1/07)

Regardless of how minor, accidents should be reported immediately to the Senior Benefits Analyst. A written report describing the accident must be completed and filed within 24 hours of the accident. If an employee is injured on the job, and seeks medical attention, s/he should tell the health care provider that the injury may be covered under Workers' Compensation Insurance. The employee must also notify Human Resources that s/he has seen a health care provider. Human Resources will notify our Workers' Compensation carrier, and once eligibility is verified, the employee may be able to collect partial pay under Workers' Compensation.

Ergonomic Assessment:
Employees should contact the Senior Benefits Analyst if they have ergonomic needs.
