Employee Assistance Program (EAP)(effective 7/1/10)Lesley's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential program provided by an outsourced service provider that is designed to help you with your personal or work life balance issues. Lesley University is providing the EAP to help you toward early resolution of your personal concerns. Our EAP provides services for the following:
There is no charge for services provided by EAP. EAP provides research, consultation and referral services for you, your family, and your significant others. When necessary you may be referred to services that go beyond the scope of EAP. Charges for services outside EAP are your responsibility. In some cases, however, your health insurance may cover a portion of the cost of the services you require. These services are confidential. No information, including your name, can be released without your written consent. The only exceptions are those required by law such as the duty of counselors to warn someone of a serious death threat, or the mandated reporting of child and elder abuse. As of January 1, 2010, EAP services are available through Cigna Behavioral Health, INC. and Cigna Group Insurance, by calling toll-free 1.800.538.3543 or visit www.cignabehavioral.com/CGI, then enter the username "rewards"; password "savings". A counselor will be available to speak with you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Human Resources and/or your supervisor, or a co-worker may suggest that you take advantage of these services. If they do, it is because they care about you and want you to get the help that you may need. updated 11/08/10 | 01:52 PM
