Solicitations

Solicitation of University employees during work hours is prohibited with few exceptions. Lesley University permits de minimus solicitations for the United Way, Community Works, Red Cross Blood Bank, American Cancer Society, the Lesley University Annual Fund, and for emergency relief during catastrophic national or international disasters. Requests to solicit for any other charities must be submitted to the Director of Human Resources, and brought forward for review. The Director of Human Resources and the Vice President for Administration will make the final decision regarding the ability to solicit for a charity.

This policy does not apply to student fundraising which is approved through Student Life and Academic Development.
