Confidential Information

The University is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and the confidentiality of records. As part of their job responsibilities, many employees have access to confidential information. Any employee who has access to confidential information is responsible for making sure that this commitment to protect individual privacy is upheld. Failure to maintain this confidentiality may result in disciplinary action including termination. In addition, no employee is allowed to use confidential information about another individual for his/her own gain.
